Overview
Temporary part time Residential Support Worker role based in Milton Keynes Your new company Hays Social Care are working with one of the top care services within the Milton Keynes area who specialise in working with elderly service users with complex care needs. You would be working with service users with Autism, Learning disabilities, Dementia and Mental health. Your new role You will be working alongside a driven team of support workers to offer service users a sense of independence within a residential setting. Your role will include planning days out, dispensing of medication, organising social events within the care home, setting up personal care plans as well as being a support with day to day activities. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be passionate about people with a desire to assist and work with service users to give them the confidence and guidance to live independently within the home. You will need to hold a full UK driving license. a minimum of 6 months social care experience ideally working with elderly service users but other experience will be considered.
