Overview
Youth Justice Practitioner- South Yorkshire £37 per hour Contract We currently have an opportunity for a Youth Justice Practitioner to join a social work team based in Barnsley. To be considered for this role you will need to have experience in the following: • Working with children, young people or adults who are involved in the criminal justice system or other statutory service provision, e.g. social work with children or families • Working within a court • Successfully working with children, young people or families who are reluctant to engage, present a high risk of harm to themselves or others, and devising packages of intervention that proactively address risk of harm to themselves or to others. • developing and leading packages of multi-disciplinary or multi-agency support. • Writing and presenting assessments for a variety of forums • Formal processes within youth justice or wider social work, e.g. enforcement action, attendance at case conferences If you are someone who has a commitment to maintaining and developing a service that is committed to the highest professional standards and the best outcomes for children, young people, their families and communities, then we would love to hear from you Please contact jenny.lloydpprsocialcare.co.uk or call 0161 509 1010 for information regarding this vacancy and other vacancies within the Yorkshire area.
