Support worker for domestic violence/abuse victims - competitive wages Your new company In this role you will be working with men, women and their families who are victims of domestic violence/abuse. Working for Hays Social Care you will be offered work in locations and settings to suit you. As we work with a range of shifts and hours, this is also an ideal way to work your job around your personal commitments. Your new role You will be required to provide practical and emotional support to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence/abuse. You will work with individuals to develop and deliver a range of effective interventions and with relatives to ensure a whole family approach, where indicated. This may be via proactive "in-reach" support to people living in refuge and outreach, move on and resettlement support, providing a flexible, trauma informed, client centred risk led service What you'll need to succeed We require you to have experience working with vulnerable adults and a passion for your work. You will be a good communicator and have an approachable personality.
