Overview

Community Learning Disability Nurse Adults' Social Care Social Care The Bedford Adult Learning Disability (ALDT) is looking for a qualified Learning Disability Nurse, to work in our small, dynamic community team. Previous experience of working within a social care setting is vital. The role will involve undertaking high level assessment work and you should be confident with complex case work eg Mental Capacity Act Assessments; complex Best Interest Assessment; court of protection work and adult safeguarding. You will be a good team player, willing to share you substantial knowledge and experience with other team members and be able to contribute towards their development. The aim of the ALDT is to promote the health and wellbeing, independence, choice and better quality of life for adults with a learning disability.
