Overview
Job Purpose: 1) To ensure that the Property Service Charges (SC) Quarterly Demands/Invoices x 700 are raised accurately to each Flat Owner and to stringent deadlines 2) Allocation of monies received from Flat owners to appropriate Demands accurately & issuing Receipts 3) Debt chasing via SC Account Statement, Email, Telephone & Reminder Letters & the related record keeping 4) Updating Flat owner SC Account details 5) Office Administration functions Responsibilities: Accounting Creating client accounts for new customers on Quickbook cloud computing software. Producing S C & Interest Charges invoices. Dealing with invoicing queries in an effective and timely manner. Assisting with producing the Aged Debtors List on regular basis. General Maintaining confidentiality of the department and using discretion where necessary. Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers. Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture. Observing and complying with company Health and Safety Policies. Observing and complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Line Managers ,for which training and/or an explanation has been provided and understood. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 2 year experience in Sales Ledger / Credit Control procedures. Bachelor’s Degree would be desirable. Good working knowledge of Accounting software and Microsoft packages. Person Profile: Essential Requirements: Excellent data entry skills - fast and accurate. Exceptionally high standards with meticulous attention to detail. Highly organised and a 'completer-finisher’. A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively. Be able demonstrate Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic 'can do’ attitude and a down to earth approachable manner. A problem solver with the ability to assume responsibility and act on own initiative, but within managers instructions. Must be confident to work independently, but under Line manager's instructions. Ability to work accurately in a busy, demanding environment, whilst adhering to stringent deadlines. Ability to work in a structured, repetitive role requiring high levels of concentration and stamina. Self- motivator. Reliable, conscientious and dedicated. Training : You will receive on the job training and other specific training, as agreed and required.
