Overview
MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious company who are well known within the local area. Our client is looking to recruit a semi-skilled assembly operative who has worked within a fabrication environment and have experience of basic welding. Job Role Working with a variety of metals and materials Using of various machinery i.e. Punch Tools, Mitre Saw, Copy Router, Pillar Drills Carrying out basic welding tasks including MIG / TIG Marking out and measuring plates and sections for cutting, shaping and drilling Drilling and tapping holes to meet job specifications Reading and understanding engineering drawings Assisting with goods in deliveries Quality inspecting own work during process The Person NVQ level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification required Focused on quality and able to produce products to a high standard Working either independently or within a team Achieve team objectives Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed Physically fit as some products are heavy This is initially a dayshift role, but the successful candidate must be flexible for potential overtime or shift changes Full time position leading to permanent for the correct candidates.
