Overview
Our client is a Top 20 firm with a network of offices around the UK. They are now looking to add a qualified tax professional to join their busy team working alongside two other managers and reporting to the Partner. Working on both tax and trust cases, you will be responsible for your own portfolio and will be expected to mentor and guide more junior members of the team as and when appropriate. The workload will include; Self-assessment tax returns for wealthy individuals, partnerships and trusts Tax computations including CGT on securities, chattels and property transactions Completion of estate tax returns Ensuring that the affairs for HNW individuals are looked after in a professional manner Preparing trust returns Developing and mentoring a team The successful post-holder will be a post-qualified individual with proven experience of personal and capital gains taxation and experience in preparing trust returns and accounts preparation would provide you with a distinct advantage in this position. A professional demeanour and excellent interpersonal skills are essential to the success of this role alongside proven experience of tax computation software and strong IT skills in general.
