Electrical Engineering Technician - Water Location: Kent Salary: Upto £32k Are you an electrician looking for a career change? Are you interested in the waste water sector? Are you an experienced electrical engineer? If so, please get in touch Highfield Professional Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a leading water technology company for electrical service engineers to work across the Kent region. The ideal candidate will have 17th edition or NVQ3, although not essential. The role will involve repairs, maintenance and upgrades on pumping stations and waste water plants across Kent and Surrounding area. This includes service and refurbishment of submersible and surface mounted pumping equipment, sewage treatment plants and all associated components, including control systems, valves and pipework. Typical work includes; Electrical testing & inspection of LCP's within kiosks/enclosures Checking of all incoming signals Electrical earth bonding and general wiring Installation of telemetry units for remote monitoring (training provided) Providing reactive services to failed systems You will have a 'can do' attitude and be happy to get your hands dirty. This is a rewarding role with great opportunities to progress and gain new skills and qualifications. You will be based from home with a company van, fuel card and PDA systems. Your working week will be around 37.5 hours. Overtime is available and on-call is usually 1 in 12 although you can volunteer for more if you wish.
