In this Technical Support Engineer role, you must have: At least 1 year in an IT Support/MSP environment Technical skills in Windows 8/10, Office 2013/16, Office 365, Apple, Anti-virus, Networking and Backup. Have at least one MCP relating to IT Support and want to gain further certifications to advance your career. Responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer: Providing Support, acting as the first responder to incoming queries and escalating according to process Providing excellent customer service to external clients Proactive thinking Assisting on tasks relating to projects delegated by colleagues Troubleshoot problems by telephone, remote access and onsite visits. Help improve company systems, procedures and knowledge. Participate and contribute to ad-hoc and planned training. System builds, configuration and installation (remote and on-site). Solution and technical research and development for internal and client use. Continuing studying and certifications, possibly as part of probation.
