Overview

Software Engineer / Developer (Python C++ Linux). Global Real-time Market Data provider is seeking a skilled Software Engineer for a 12 month contract to help integrate connectivity workflows with clients including APIs, schedules and triggers and connectivity. There are several projects in the pipeline including moving scripts from Python 2 to Python 3; porting software packages from UNIX utilities to Python and Perl; adding tooling and fixing JavaScript issues in the UI. You'll be based in amazing City offices with open plan desk space, breakout areas, quiet spaces and a range of onsite facilities such as a free fully stocked food hall area. Requirements: Strong software engineering skills with Python and ideally C++ Experience with large, real-time distributed systems Good knowledge of Test Automation, TDD Ideally you will have experience with Perl and experience of improving an older codebase Apply now or call to find out more about this Software Engineer / Developer contract opportunity.
