Overview
Eden Scott's client is a world leader in a fast-growing market. Due to continued success and growth, there is now the requirement for Project Manager to join the business. The position will manage client-facing development projects. The successful candidate will work directly with clients ensuring that deliverables fall within applicable scope and budget and will have the following responsibilities: Coordinating and completing projects on time Ensuring technical feasibility - from small engineered-to-order projects to large scale customer programmes Agreeing project deliverables and timescales Identifying resources, plan tasks, milestones and risk Monitoring and managing the progress of tasks towards achieving project goals Developing detailed project plans and schedules Managing resource allocation to company targets for capacity and utilisation Managing changes to the project lifecycle scope, schedule and costs to maintain budget and on time delivery Preparing reports for senior management Liaising with engineering and R&D teams to resource projects Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties / vendors / subcontractors Implementing and maintaining best in class project management tools and processes Candidates will ideally be qualified in a technical or engineering discipline with at least 5 years' experience of managing projects through product development and manufacturing. Furthermore, a familiarity with concepts in software, electrical, hardware and mechanical engineering in a product development environment. Furthermore, experience in transferring projects from development into manufacturing is also essential.
