Are you studying toward Dip4 and have experience working within Financial Services as a Paraplanner? This could be the perfect opportunity to the next step in your career. Our client is looking for an experienced Financial Services Paraplanner to join their busy Financial Services department. The successful individual will be responsible for providing support to the Firm's advisers and ensuring that all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis. RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparing and maintaining client files To collate all the quantitative detailed information required to support any recommendations to be made To ensure all relevant paperwork held within a client file is present, relevant and compliant Discuss client objectives with the adviser Ensure all appropriate 'know your client' information has been obtained and can be demonstrated within the relevant client file Prepare recommendations Identify and discuss areas for planning with the adviser Undertake relevant research to identify suitable solutions to meet a client's specific objectives Prepare relevant documentation and comparisons ready to be reviewed Prepare draft suitability reports to be discussed and signed Implement recommendations Prepare suitability reports in accordance with the agreed recommendation(s) Complete applications or proposal forms When instructed, make changes to a client's investment portfolio Reviewing Act as a main point of contact and deal effectively with client queries To arrange agreed client meetings with the client and adviser To prepare existing client files ready for reviews If required, attend client meetings with advisers Ensure any updates and reports are issued to clients in a timely manner When instructed, review client investment portfolios, asset allocations, risk profile etc. REQUIREMENTS: Working towards industry exams in either financial planning and/or mortgage administration Working within the financial or banking sector Broad knowledge of financial services and processes Understanding of the Independent Financial Services sector Excellent I.T skills (Microsoft Office) Working towards industry exams in either financial planning and/or mortgage administration Excellent written and oral communication skills High attention to detail Organised Ability to work on own initiative Please click on the link to apply or contact Nicky Johnston on 01224 653387 for more information.
