Electronics and Electrical Basic Skills Mechanical Instructor Location: Saudi Arabia About the Job We are searching for a skilled Electronics Instructor to join our high-profile client in the defence sector based in the Middle East. The primary purpose of the role will be to ensure customers' needs are met by delivering effective training solutions in relation to their Naval Forces' range of military equipment. About the Employer Our client has a well-established overseas presence where they have developed a reputation for working closely with local partners to support economic development by transferring knowledge, skills and technology to add value and capability. Our client operates as a prime contractor under a Government to Government arrangement which is in place to provide equipment, support and training to the customer based in the Middle East. Key Responsibilities If you are an ex-military instructor currently in search of overseas jobs in the Middle East, then this role will potentially provide a great opportunity to take the leap with a well-established and respected business in the defence sector. As Electronics Instructor , you will be responsible for delivering Basic Skills Training - in a Mechanical context - within the Technical Institute for Naval Studies. In the role of Electronics Instructor , your specialist mechanical basic skills training will be delivered in relation to City Guilds 2850-82 Level 2 qualifications. In addition to remedial training activity, you will be accountable as the Electronics Instructor for the design and writing of assessment material as well as associated invigilation support for assessment of the customers' Naval Forces personnel. About the Person The ideal candidate for the position of Electronics Instructor will be a graduate of an advanced military training establishment, who holds a City Guilds 2850-84 qualification. You have at least 3 years' practical experience, ideally as an Engineman or Hull Technician with a Mechanical bias, across a range of Naval ships and equipment. You should be able to demonstrate experience of working within a complex operational training environment - with at least 1 year's recent instructional experience - in order to succeed in your role as Electronics Instructor .
