Travel Consultant

Then read on We are looking for people who have travelled widely in Australia or America to join our client's team. The job is talking to customers about your experience, making recommendations to them about a holiday of a life time, and helping them book their trip. Our client is a well established tour operator who is growing year on year, and are expanding their teams. The atmosphere is buzzy and busy, and the existing teams are made up of people with a genuine love of travel. If you are confident, friendly, and want to contribute to the team then you already have the right attributes. It is essential that you have travelled widely and have a good knowledge of your destination, although this doesn't necessarily equate to time, more a variety of experiences. A background in administration or customer service might be an advantage, but is not essential. The salary for this position starts at £18,000 to £19,000, with the possibility to earn £21,000 in your first year with bonuses for performance. Once established and trained you could earn around £28,000 per annum.
