Residential Setting Out Engineer Your new company You will be working for a consortium of investors that have joined together to produce medium - large scale housing developments to assist the national housing crisis with their aim to build 1000 units a year by 2022. This developer follows a strict programme for its developments and is not sales driven like many national house builders, meaning they are able to adhere to a great service and quality levels throughout. Your new role Your new role offers significant amounts of growth to you, the Engineer that aspires to start develop his own Civil company. The position in it's conception will be managing all setting out on site, then progressing into a people management post where you will be managing ground workers and another Setting Out Engineer that you will be responsible for hiring. What you'll need to succeed In order to be considered for this role, you will need a to be comfortable with all aspects of setting out and management of subcontractors through direct resource allocation and supervision, ensuring the build programmes are adhered to at all times. You will need to be flexible in your geographic working area, with requirements to work away from home on planned regional site visits.
