Operations Manager - Warehouse

Lusona Consultancy are working with a Global Manufacturing organisation who are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager – Warehouse , who will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain. The Operations Manager will manage a small team of Supervisors, whose teams are split across Warehouse Operations, Kitting and Material replenishment, Goods Receiving/Dispatch and Stock Control. There is a heavy reliance on material supply to Production, so world-class standards of inventory accuracy and 5S will be expected measure. The Operations Manager will be required to deliver the structured program of storage improvements and create and deploy a sustainable and measurable quality process to measure the effectiveness of the replenishment methods to the production lines form the Central Store, so an absolute passion for delivering continuous improvement is an absolute must Strong leadership and management skills are a key requirement for the role and the Operations Manager will be required to set the strategy for the team, coach, succession planning and progressive discipline. The manufacturing process is fast-paced and complicated, so material supply is key to their success so the Operations Manager must have the ability to manage complex problems and multiple priorities, think analytically and independently, be a problem-solver and have a strong sense of urgency and can meet deadlines.
