Overview
Senior Network Engineer - Permanent - Edinburgh - up to £70K plus benefits This is a permanent role with a financial services company in Edinburgh. This is a Lead position where you will play a key role in the evolution of the business by delivering a wide range of challenging network security projects. Technical Skills/Qualifications: · Must be at expert level in two or more of the following platforms: Check Point, Cisco ASA, Fortinet (not essential) or Bluecoat · Solid experience with Cisco LAN Switching Technologies / WAN Services & Advanced F5 (inc iRules) · Expert knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, etc. · Good knowledge of design & implementation of Network Services into AWS · CCNP qualified (ideally) · Experience in the production of technical design and documentation · Wider experience with an IT environment (infrastructure management, operations, ITIL V3).
