Overview
Job Advertisement NLC7 £24,636 - £27,737 pro rata Based within Muirpark Home, Bellshill, you will provide care and support to individuals and groups of service users consistent with their needs. As a member of the care team, you will enable the service users to maintain and develop their individual lifestyles and contribute, in consultation with senior staff, to the formulation, updating and development of individual care plans consistent with care reviews. In addition you will contribute to ensuring health and safety standards are maintained. You will be educated to standard grade level or equivalent. Successful applicants will require to obtain a SVQ Level 3 or HNC in Social Care, or equivalent, if not already held, in order to comply with the registration/timescale requirements of the SSSC. You will be flexible and self motivated and have an ability to work to tight deadlines and ideally you will have some direct experience of working in a Social Care Setting. A driving licence is desirable. You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role. You will also be registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Work Pattern – as and when required.
