Part Qualified Financial Accountant

Change Recruitment Group are currently working with a highly established construction company in search of an experienced Part-Qualified Financial Accountant to join their successful team based in Dumbarton. Working within a small team, you will be responsible for producing useful and accurate management information in a timely and accurate manner. Key duties of the role surround: · Involvement in month end processes and reporting timetable becoming involved across all month end tasks · Participating in the preparation of monthly management information, extending to consolidated management accounts, reconciliations, month end journals, fixed asset and hire purchase adjustments, and intercompany recharges · Assisting with year-end procedures and tasks as required · Review all balance sheet items to ensure validity and recoverability where necessary. · Partake in the preparation for year-end audit, which will entail regular reconciliations (VAT turnover) and the accurate filing of relevant paperwork pertaining to audits · Preparation of accurate monthly management accounts · Providing support to other teams within the finance department, extending to sales & purchase ledger teams, credit control team, invoicing & receipts · Assisting with monthly VAT returns Key essentials: · Experience with producing management accounts · Working towards professional exams (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) · Strong computer literacy skills including knowledge in Sage Line 50, Excel and Word as essential · Excellent attention to detail skills · Highly organised and self-sufficient · Ability to work within a fast-paced and challenging environment For your efforts, my client are offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits and a fantastic working environment.
