Overview
Are you an IT Support Technician / 1st and 2nd Line Support looking for a new challenge? Do you have 2 years plus experience in a similar role? Well we are looking for an IT Support Engineer to work on the outskirts of Horsham - this really is a fantastic opportunity working for an outstanding organisation This role will report directly to the IT Manager. Key responsibilities & tasks: Provide support across the business for providing a high standard of Personal Computer, Infrastructure, Cloud, Networking and Manage Service Support. Performing troubleshooting and diagnosis for all issues. Ensuring that all processes are followed and all issues are owned through to resolution Suggesting continual improvement Working closely with the IT Manager on projects to provide system upgrades. Responsible for providing in-house support (1st and 2nd line) to all company staff. Being the first point of contact for staff with IT related issues Configuring PCs (desktops & laptops) and printers for office and remote staff Knowledge and experience of the following is desirable: Experience of Microsoft Windows 10 Microsoft Certified Qualification (MCP, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP) Experience of working with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 Experience of working with Microsoft Office 365 Familiarity with Email security systems. Familiarity with Firewall Administration Experience in support Apple iOS based devices Some experience of working with Microsoft SharePoint Personal Profile: 2 years’ experience of working within an IT support / helpdesk role is essential - formal training will also be provided where appropriate. Great attention to detail Team player Proactive with excellent problem solving skills Good telephone manner Able to work flexibly, prioritise, and manage competing demands. Excellent Time Management Ability to multi-task.
