Customer Services Manager - Harrogate Our client requires a Full Time Customer Services Manager located in Harrogate. The Role: The Customer Services Manager will be responsible for managing a team of staff, handling enquiries for group customers, farmers and processors, and colleagues and the wider industry. The role will be covering general customer services calls, information requests, complaints, invoicing and billing queries, ordering animal identification tags, processing orders for a range of NMR products, Outbound Marketing calls; promoting group services and general administration tasks. The Customer Services Manager will be responsible for all aspects of staff development, training and performance management, as well as ensuring appropriate staff/skill sets are available at all open times. Enquiries will be via all media channels, telephone, email or written. The Customer Services Manager is responsible to ensure the highest professional customer service is always provided. All details of the customer conversations will be logged on the company CRM system to maintain an accurate account of what has been agreed and copying colleagues for actions required. The Customer Services Manager will need to have a hands-on approach and is expected to develop a high level of knowledge on all products supported by the Customer Services team, to both support staff as well as commit approximately 50% of time handling customer calls personally. An ability to network and communicate with a wide range of staff and customers A wide knowledge of the dairy industry High level knowledge of company Products and Services. Empathy, patience and mental agility to manage, mentor and train others. High level of interpersonal people skills. Able to work in a fastpaced environment. Process driven. Be well organised. Key Responsibilities: To carry out the tasks and responsibilities of the Customer Services Operator across all disciplines. To manage the team, including performance management, provide leadership to staff, mentoring of colleagues. To ensure customer support is of the highest standard, and to lead by example. To ensure all calls are logged on CRM and report on trends, when requested. To develop new WPs for Customer Services as required, for existing and new services. Production of performance reports against KPI’s. To implement methods and procedures to improve the teams performance.
