Are you a 3rd Line Engineer interested in progressing your career with an exciting Managed Service Provider who specialise in award winning cloud services as well as IT Infrastructure and network support? An IT Infrastructure & Cloud Managed Service Provider is looking for a 3rd Line Engineer to work within their small team based near Cardiff. You will work alongside another 3rd line engineer to resolve all escalated issues from the wider team, as well as be involved in exciting project work. You will need to be able to travel to client site on occasion, this role offers the opportunity for remote working, as well as a bespoke training plan to gain MCSE/Sophos certifications as you progress within the business. Responsibilities: Be the final point of escalation for service tickets Problem solve 3rd line infrastructure issues Offer industry-leading remote support to a network of clients across England and Wales. Experience Required: Proven experience at 3rd line level The successful candidate will possess high levels of technical knowledge on most or all of the following platforms: Windows Server Exchange Server HP managed switches Cloud-based VOIP services Virtualisation: VMWare and Hyper-V Benefits: Salary: £36K-40K depending on experience Bespoke training on all vendor platforms and fully funded qualifications Remote working available Free parking Easy commuting: located just off the M4 A small team where you can make a real difference with your technical expertise Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
