Overview

We are looking for a EUC engineer to join a highly valued client who on a permanent basis to work autonomously, supporting their diagnostic laptop estate. They have been at the forefront of technological advancement in their field for over fifty years, operating in circa 60 countries worldwide. Reporting directly to the EUC Manager this role will suit someone who is proactive in their approach and able to troubleshoot independently alongside the maintenance teams. Solid automation experience is essential for this role and will be expected in order to be considered. Key Responsibilities include; Day to day management and support of Diagnostic laptop Fleet. Use the IT toolset to manage status of devices (SCCM, SNOW, Avecto, McAfee EPO) Create builds and application packages using SCCM/WSUS Work closely with technicians to understand software configuration and usage Documentation of builds, software versions and configuration Coordination of application removal/deployment and update Liaison with Business Engagement and business managers and process owners to ensure ongoing IT requirements are fully satisfied Provision and support of localised diagnostic IT systems Working closely with other IT Management team members to ensure IT strategy and approach aligns to Maintenance requirements and adheres to IT standards Essential Skills & Experience include; 2nd line end-user support for a multi-site organisation (2000 users) Build automation using SCCM/WSUS/OSD Advanced knowledge of SCCM application packaging Advanced knowledge of Windows 7 and 10 Advanced knowledge of Office 2016 Active Directory / Exchange / SCCM) Mobile Device Management (MobileIron) Remote Access systems Networking – DNS, DHCP, File sharing, Printing, LAN/WLAN Endpoint protection – anti-virus, anti-malware (McAfee) Extensive practical experience in supporting a complex environment of devices and business applications Familiarity with incident/request management systems (ServiceNow) Able to produce and maintain accurate support documentation Qualifications · ITIL v3 Foundation or equivalent experience This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89872318
