Overview
Creative Support is a provider of person centred care and support to people with a wide range of needs. We are currently looking for Support Workers to provide person centred care to service users with autism, challenging behaviours and other complex needs in Worsley and surrounding areas (Swinton & Monton). Support is to be provided within service users’ own homes on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis, in addition to participating in community based activities and supporting services users’ personal interests. Your satisfying role will include: Providing personal care and practical and emotional support for some service users Supporting service users to participate in community and social activities Collaborating with service users, their multi-disciplinary teams and co-workers to provide a consistent service and to maximise service user outcomes Understanding of complex communication approaches and behavioural management is desirable. You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service as this service operates over 24 hours a day; this will include weekend and evening shifts on a rotational basis.
