Role My client is seeking to employ an Installation Engineer who is experienced within Fire and Security Systems who can work to a high and unsupervised standard. The General Duties for this role will include but not be limited to Being Accountable - To yourself, your team and your fellow engineers Be a beacon of the company representing polite professionalism always Have a great attitude with a 'can do' approach Liaise with customers to lead and tailor a service to meet their expectation Install systems to satisfy the customer and their representatives Manage your activity and productivity to deliver on-time to your high standards Liaise with colleagues, maintain and represent good support to them and expect similar support in return A competent and qualified alarm engineer is essential; however, there may be a elements of either discipline in which you are slightly less skilled. Whilst experience in these disciplines would be an advantage, my client can commit to train and up-skill areas of weaker knowledge. The fundamental electronic skills and dependence on ohms law etc must be prevalent in approach. A great engineer will adapt and has a natural hunger to learn and become more capable. Remember, you're the kid that took the clock apart to see how it worked - which was probably the last time it did work But you've grown up. Summary: The person should be highly organised and efficient, able to work in a busy changing environment with enthusiasm and determination. As an excellent communicator the candidate will liaise comfortably with customers and within their team.
