Project Engineer

Project Engineer Location: Midsomer Norton. Salary: Competitive. Duration: Permanent. Benefits: Health & life assurance, company pension, etc. Our client, a nationwide leader in the water & waste industry urgently require a suitably qualified and experienced Project Engineer to join their team in Midsomer Norton. The role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of commercial and industrial clients in the water treatment, quarrying, nuclear and waste recycling sectors. The Role · Manage the staff and contractors on your projects. · Organising, advising and supervising all personnel working on site and monitor productivity and output to maximise efficiency. · Help control project expenditure costs to maximise profit. · Ensure project documentation is up to date and correct. · Attend site meeting and programme planning. · Give updates to Project Manager & Commercial department with site information. · To ensure personal health and safety and that of others in your charge and around you including report all accidents, incidents and near misses. · Minimise impact of the environment, aim to protect. · Management the completion of site installation work, ensuring projects are on time & budget. · Ordering materials on time and within budget. · Organise labour, tools & equipment. · Producing method statements and risk assessments and ensure compliance by all personnel on site. · Recording and reporting additional work on priced jobs for invoicing. Essential requirements · Experience within the Water and Waste industry. · Experience as a Project Engineer. · Relevant Electrical or Mechanical qualifications.
