The role; Work with a team of Java developers, mainly on a Java web based application Create java applications and unit tests Ability to pick up new technical concepts and technologies Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies Proactive team player, working closely with the Senior Developer who is based abroad Good oral, written and consultative skills, knowing when to seek help from the Senior Developer/Project Lead Technical Requirements; J2SE JSP, Servlet, Tag Libraries Junit tests JavaScript (JQuery), HTML MYSQL Apache Tomcat Netbeans IDE Git, SVN MVC patterns Desirable Skills Struts REST Spring Hibernate Linux skills This is an exciting time to join this company, being the main Developer in Scotland and working with other developers based in South Africa.
