Overview
This is a great opportunity to join one of the best home care companies in the UK. They are recruiting a care coordinator. You will play a key role in managing a team of dedicated carers delivering services throughout the operational area. You will liaise and support the care manager to deliver care, marketing, recruitment and ensure quality assurance. Skills required: At least 1 years experience as a Care/Rota Coordinator Experience as a carer or support worker Excellent organisation, delegation and communication skills Good customer service Duties and Responsibilities On call duties Provide leadership and motivation to your team/work colleagues Delivery of care to individuals within the community with Enthusiasm, Excellence and Passion. Soliciting, allocating and processing new care packages and referrals efficiently. Responding to changes and amendments to existing care packages Assigning calls to care workers, whilst working within the standards and requirements of the company. Ensuring all calls and working pattern are coordinated to the needs of the company, customer and care workers. Ensuring mileage and distance travelled is monitored and recorded Ensuring adequate cover is available for sickness, absenteeism or holidays Covering calls when there are emergencies Work with the care manager to meet recruitment needs Induction of new care workers into the caring role Organise accurate records on the system and work with the other departments to ensure all data is up to date and relevant. Preparation of reports as required. Completion and distribution of the care worker rota's are completed on a weekly basis to all appropriate parties. Essential A car driver and use of your own vehicle is essential to this role. Job Type: Full-time
