HGV WORKSHOP FOREMAN c£45,000.00 per Annum 40 hours at £15.11 p/h 11.5 hours at £22.67 p/h BRADFORD You must only apply if you have relevant Mechanical Qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 Our client’s commercial vehicle hire business has been established for over half a century, it is a family run business that employs around 160 people across 6 depots in the North/South-West of England. The company has been awarded with ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 accreditations - adding to their continued commitment to providing a quality service to both customers and employees. As a Workshop Foreman, you will be responsible for planning work, motivating staff, managing diagnostics and liaising frequently and effectively with the Workshop Manager. As well as this there will be 50% of your time spent 'on the tools’ carrying out repairs to the highest standards and with the most effective use of time. You will also require: Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics (ideally) Experience working on tippers, tipper grabs or beaver tails Knowledge of latest diagnostic systems Legible handwriting Ideally a Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (C) HGV License although standard license holders will be considered We are looking for a team player to fill this role who will be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines. You must have previous HGV technical experience and be able to adopt a hands-on approach to all aspects of the role to ensure continued high levels of work are carried out right first time. Additional Info: Contributory pension scheme Death in Service payout: two times annual salary Free parking In walking distance of local amenities Hours of Work: First 40 hours at £15.11 per hour and after 40 hours at £22.67 per hour 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (30 mins unpaid lunch break) and Saturday Mornings working 3 then taking 1 off but paid for all 4 (8:00 am to 12:00 pm)
