Sewell Wallis have an excellent opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk based in North Leeds. The successful candidate will join a growing finance team and will report to and learn directly from the Finance Manager. Our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and has prior purchase ledger experience. This role would suit an individual with experience of working within a fast paced environment and will involve working towards multiple deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy at all times. As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for: Daily bank reconciliation and payment allocation. Invoice processing. Dealing with queries from internal and external stakeholders. Maintaining the purchase ledger tracker. Weekly payment runs. Depositing cheques at the bank on a weekly basis. Assisting the sales ledger team with some sales invoicing. Supporting the Assistant Management Accountant on cost accruals required at month end. Other adhoc tasks as and when required. The ideal candidate will have: 6 months purchase ledger experience. A strong eye for detail. Strong organisational skills. The ability to work comfortably on their own or in a team. In return you will: Receive a competitive salary.
