Overview

Covering services across Birmingham Domus are currently working exclusively with a fantastic West Midlands based care provider to conduct an initial shortlist for an Area Manager to cover their portfolio of supported living services across Birmingham. The organisation supports individuals with autism and or/learning disability, behaviours that may challenge and complex needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the staff teams across a cluster of newly refurbished supported living services across Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager who wants to join a growing organisation as they look to expand on their existing portfolio of services. This role is paying £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience. Interview Process This will most likely be concluded with a one stage interview process. This will entail a formal meeting with the Operations Director The ideal candidate: Someone who can 'hit the ground running'. Have experience in the management of budgetary and performance issues as well as variety of other contractual requirements i.e. spreadsheets and cash flow. Have proven experience at Registered Manager level and have managed teams across multiple sites previously. Be experienced, honest, transparent with a warming approach, level headed and keeping the local authorities on-side. You must have a full driving licence and live in the Birmingham as the successful candidate will be expected to maintain a visible presence at the services. Maintain and develop good relationships with commissioners and families of the people supported. Level 5 Social Care or management qualification. Company benefits?
