Overview
Platform Engineer Our client, one of the fastest growing Fintech companies who build the technology that powers the world’s best financial institutions, are now looking for a Platform Engineer to join their team. Working within our Professional Services division who implement the software products on client focused delivery projects you will take ownership of technical project activities including the design and delivery of the solutions ensuring smooth deployment of all software. Main responsibilities will be; System installation, configuration and tuning Infrastructure architecture design for high availability and security Operating systems RDBMS, Web/App servers Design software deployment processes introducing automation Building production runtime environments for handover to operational team The ideal candidate will have; Demonstrable experience of implementing enterprise software Ability to work quickly and gather requirements and design technical solutions Stakeholder management skills including the ability to communicate with clients The ability to take ownership and resolve issues with a meticulous attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication skills Experience of DevOps, agile development and operations support processes Unix Linux experience If you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role, then send an up to date CV along with your current salary details to Debbie Middleton of MGER and let her do the rest.
