Overview

Assistant Accountant 12 Month FTC Based in Crewe Completion Bonus Your new company Your new company are a leader in their field based in Crewe and are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join them for a 12 month FTC to cover maternity leave. Your new role Your new role will include but not be limited to; Journal entries Maintaining and reconciling ledger accounts Providing record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions Accounts payable duties Balancing books periodically Profit and loss preparation, income and balance sheet statements Receipts and disbursement reports May prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns May interpret reports and records for Managers Maintaining and developing a combination of accounting systems What you'll need to succeed Working towards an accountancy qualification (AAT or other professional qualification) Experience in volume processing of supplier invoices Attention to detail and analytical skills Microsoft Excel skills to include Pivot tables and VLookup Experience of working with ERP systems - SAP desirable but not essential Ability to work as part of a small team but must also be a motivated self-starter What you'll get in return Working with a great team in a great environment 39 hours standard working week 25 Days holiday bank holidays Life Insurance 4 X Annual Salary Stock and Shares Purchase Scheme FTC completion bonus What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
