Overview
Job Title: NDT Technician Location: Coventry Hourly rate: £12.50 per hour Hours : 06:00-4:00pm Monday to Friday Job Type : Contract Due to their continuing success and growth this well-established manufacturer is currently looking for an experienced NDT Technician to strengthen and support their existing quality department. Duties Component sectioning & preparation for metallurgical/ failure investigations. NDT inspections including dye penetrant inspection, real time x-ray inspections, wet film x-ray results inspection and CT scan reporting. Maintain cleanliness of the research laboratory. Ensure any maintenance issues are reported and resolved with regard to laboratory equipment. Drive to continue own continued professional development and education Support the research team, as required Undertake any other duties of a similar nature consistent with the responsibilities of this post. Successful candidates Knowledge of health and safety legislation as it applies to the role Completion of Health, Safety & Environmental awareness training; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong research orientation, proven through either education or experience Able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team Experience of component sectioning & preparation for metallurgical/ failure investigations is desirable. An NVQ level 2 certificate or above in a relevant subject (or equivalent qualification) is desirable Minimum experience, training or qualifications required: Candidates must have experience within a similar role Due to the high number of applications we receive, we are sometimes not able to respond directly to each candidate.
