As a Graduate Solution Architect, we'll equip you with the technical tools and hands-on experience to succeed. You’ll attend an intensive training programme when you begin, as well as having ongoing time and support to study for industry recognised certifications, and access to Pluralsight to continually build your technical skill. Our Architects act as technology leaders in Aviva, working with colleagues from a variety of teams to design creative end to end solutions and designs that meet our short- and long-term goals. You’ll support the definition of our technology vision and help us see how we can get there. Your work will include: Defining end-to-end solutions for IT change Creating designs that are fit for purpose: meeting our technology, user, customer and security needs Delivering solutions that progress the overall architecture journey and are aligned to Aviva’s Strategy Learning from a phenomenal team, and working within an industry leading framework for design Developing yourself and others in the Architecture community About you As a Graduate, you will: Have or be on track for a 2:1 Degree in any subject You will also need a minimum of 5 x GCSE’s or Scottish National 5’s at A-C grade (4-9) (or equivalent)?from prior?study –?this must include English and Maths Be a force for change and improvement – whether through your studies, your work experience or your outside interests, show us how you have helped make things better Have a genuine interest in technology – finding out about and trying out new technologies and apps Be a confident communicator, able to talk to people from a variety of backgrounds Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills Have a love of learning and be working to continually improve What will you get for this role?
