Overview

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a business who have a requirement for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. Main Purpose of the Role: To ensure that the general ledger is maintained in a timely and accurate manner To ensure that general office duties are performed efficiently To prioritise workload in order to assist the team with the most critical requirements Purchase Ledger Code Purchase Ledger invoices and input to CODA Obtain authorisations for payment & prepare weekly payment run Process BACS payments Take calls chasing payment Reconcile supplier statements to ledger and obtain missing documentation Process expense claims, ensuring adherence to rules & accuracy of coding Purchasing Check stationery stock, collate stationery orders & order stationery Deal with suppliers Process orders into Comtrex Sales Ledger Raise sales invoices and post onto CODA Credit Control Administration Telephone chasing & maintenance of call logs / notes in CODA Send copy invoices Send statements and reminder letters Key Requirements: • Have a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail • Possess exceptional communication skills • Be proactive in their work • Support and effect change where necessary • Be a strong team player
