Registered Children's Home Manager Wolverhampton -West Midlands - Salary £45,000 Negotiable Are you from-Birmingham, Walsall, Telford, Bilston, Wolverhampton or Dudley GROW WITH THE COMPANY AND GO THAT EXTRA YARD An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proven Children`s Home Residential Manager. This opportunity is working for a fantastic company who truly value their children in care and also their staff. About the home: The home is new and registered for 4 children and young people with Learning Disability by OFSTED. Purpose of Residential Children’s Home Manager To maintain the smooth running of the home by promoting a harmonious culture by co-ordinating, supervising, directing and facilitating the team in delivering high standards of care. Protection and support to the children and young people by facilitating their physical, psychological, emotional and social development. Residential Children’s Home Manager Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday inclusive of On-Call Duties. Holiday entitlement 34 days including bank holidays extra days for loyalty after 3 years plus Private Healthcare Residential Children’s Home Manager must have:- Experience in operational & service strategic management skills of children, staff resources A proven track record of successfully managing similar Children`s Residential facilities Experience of facilitating, organising and directing & developing teams Experience of using childcare Standards & best practise model to guide decision making Experience of translating policy into practice Knowledge of Management theories Management Qualifications Management training & experience Learning Disability experience is a MUST. Child related/Social care qualifications Knowledge of Equal opportunities & diversity models Up to date knowledge of Childcare & Child Protection Laws Basic knowledge of IT NVQ 5 Leadership and management Children & Young people.
