Overview

Resourcing Advisor, Tyneside Salary up to £30,000 Maternity contract (10 months) My client is a very well established and rapidly expanding national construction organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced Resourcing Advisor to cover an 11 month maternity contract. The successful candidate will be expected to lead recruitment and selection of the highest quality candidates company-wide for permanent and fixed term vacancies. Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end recruitment for vacancies by partnering with Hiring Managers to manage permanent and fixed term recruitment - Utilise most appropriate and cost-effective method to source candidates whilst having a focus on direct sourcing as a preference - Pro-actively build and manage appropriate candidate pools and actively engage with each to encourage direct sourcing - Manage the end to end candidate experience to ensure a positive journey for all applicants - Support recruitment managers with interviews and ensure candidates are given appropriate feedback - Attend and facilitate Senior level interviews with the Hiring Managers - Build, develop and maintain successful working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, suppliers and candidates - Continuously review and advise hiring managers on job descriptions, salary benchmarking and appropriate career paths - Site visits to manage vacancies and understand business requirements - Organise regional career events and open sessions to attract fresh talent and build pipelines - Manage relationships with agencies where required - Manage Social Media effectively to build talent networks - Actively build and maintain professional network by attending events and using Social Media - Collating various Management Information reports - Contribute towards HR projects and strategies, process reviews and system implementations - Attend Career Fairs/Employer Events at Schools/Colleges/Universities and deliver company presentations to relevant groups - Monitor recruitment agency spend within responsible business area - Evaluate leavers to identify any trends gaps in recruitment approach - Deliver Recruitment and Interview Skills training to People Leaders to ensure that Hiring Managers are equipped to conduct interviews on behalf of the company Criteria: - Relevant experience of working within a Recruitment / HR environment - Strong self-motivation, pro-active nature and good intuition - Relevant experience of high-volume recruitment - Evidence of working to tight deadlines in a pressurised role - Excellent time management and organisation skills as we work in a high volume and fast-moving environment - Ability to look at ways to improve processes and ways of working - An eye for detail and someone who can analyse and interpret data and present it in a creative, informative way (e.g. using Excel, PowerPoint) - A confident, efficient and professional communication style - The ability to work autonomously, be results driven and confident in identifying solutions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Highly proficient IT skills with experience using all relevant software packages including MS Office, email and internet - Commitment to Continued Professional Development - Valid UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel I'm really keen to hear from anyone who has a good mix of both in-house and agency recruitment.
