Lending and Commercial Solicitor 3 years PQE Surrey Circa £45,000 A highly regarded legal practice with multiple offices is seeking an experienced Lending and Commercial Law Solicitor from a reputable firm to join their leading team in Guildford. The team and wider firm are highly accredited in the Legal 500 and Chambers UK and many of their Solicitors are personally recommended for their work. The team are acknowledged on a national basis for providing a first-class service to high net worth clientele across a range of transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop an existing mixed caseload with an exceptional miscellaneous client base ranging from family run entities and SME's to international businesses in sectors including Food & Beverage, Agricultural and Rural, Automotive, Technology, Education and Healthcare. Main areas of focus will include: Facility and loan agreements Property and development finance Guarantees Acquisition and asset finance Debentures and share charges Refinancing Legal and equitable mortgages Consumer lending Subordination and priority arrangements RMBS and CMBS Intercreditor documentation and mezzanine financing Private equity You may also be dealing with constitutional and shareholder issues, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, commercial agreements, financing, advertising and marketing and competition and intellectual property. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Managing your own caseload, providing clear and concise advice To work on matters introduced by our private lender / institutional banking clients Assisting the team with larger scale, complex transactions Attending to clients of the firm Drafting a wide range of legal documentation such as drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and updating terms and conditions. Working on other areas of law, such as competition and intellectual property Active involvement within business development Secretarial support is provided to all fee earning members of the team The firm offer employee benefits and an extremely competitive salary.
