Overview

Pharmacy Manager, between Kettering and Northampton, 3 - 5.5 day options, £21 p/h plus bonus This is a brilliant role to develop a recently established community Pharmacy based within a GP surgery which is independently owned and has loads of potential to be taken to the next level. Since it opened 18 months ago it has been run using only locum pharmacists, so there has been a lack of focus and NMS and MUR targets have failed to be met and its currently dispensing just 2300 items a month. There is huge potential for someone with a level of commercially minded as private PGDs including erectile dysfunction, hair loss, smoking cessation and salabutamol are already in place but have failed to be implemented/marketed. There is also huge scope to establish a successful travel clinic, the nearest being for 5 miles from the village which they are keen to introduce along with yellow fever clinic. The owner will offer a fluid working structure where he is able to make quick decisions and is extremely flexible both in terms of ideas and working options. He is happy to offer good advice and sound direction whenever required, however for someone with lots of experience he will offer lots of autonomy where you will be allowed to implement all your own plans. HOURS The pharmacy is open: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 9.00am - 6.00pm Thurs 9am -7.30pm Saturdays 9am - 1pm My client can accommodate someone who wants to work anywhere from 3 days - 5.5days THE PERSON To be considered for this position you must be a proactive, UK registered pharmacist with minimum 2 years management experience THE REWARDS £21 p/h Bonus relating to item and service growth What Happens Next?
