Overview

Our client is at the forefront of innovative cancer care with their UK network of cancer centres. They provide the most suitable, state-of-the-art cancer treatment and an exceptional level of care to every patient. The centres deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and the latest in advanced cancer treatments including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and, in the future, proton beam therapy across all centres. To date, our client has three cancer centres open, two of which currently offer access to proton beam therapy, and a further four new centres planned in the next four years making a total of eight cancer centres around the UK. Their aim is to provide the majority of patients with a state-of-the-art cancer centre within a ninety-minute journey of their front door, wherever they are in the UK. Job Purpose The purpose of the compliance administrator role is to support the Professional Standards team in a wide range of administrative tasks. The Professional Standards team are responsible for ensuring the organisation works within a regulatory and quality framework, implementing policies, processes and systems in order to minimise risk and to achieve compliance to international standards and quality marks which include ISO9001. The compliance administrator is a pivotal role within the Professional Standards Team who manage the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO9001. They will use their expert excel skills to create, configure and manage the electronic QMS tools. They will be the expert reviewer on formatting and proof-reading documents for internal distribution and will champion best practice. They will provide support in researching healthcare queries for input into policies and guidance. Main duties and responsibilities Manage the electronic Quality Management System and lead on the creation of tracking tools for theteam. Assist in the administration of policycycle: - Proofreading, formatting, applying version control and coding all documents. - Issuing and tracking policy compliance, renewal dates and maintaining the policy directory. Maintain an electronic filing system of current and archiveddocuments. Maintain a hardcopy filing system of currentdocuments. Take minutes for meetings whenrequired. Assist in gathering of data / research. Provide general administrativesupport. Support the medical alerts notificationprocess. Place of Work Your normal place of work will be Newport, South Wales. However, you may/will be required to travel in the course of your duties to attend meetings and other appointments. Travel and reasonable expenses will be paid in line with the Company’s Expenses Policy. Person Specification - Essential Requirements The person who undertakes this role will be able to demonstrate excellent Word and Excel skills and attention to detail in proof reading documents Qualifications and Registration GCSE English and Maths or equivalent Experience and Competencies Minimum 1 years’ experience of working in a busy administrative office environment. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonalskills. Fully competent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint andExcel. Strong administrationexperience. High level of accuracy and attention todetail.
