Nights Warehouse Manager Competitive salary dependent on experience Nights 4-on 4-off Rochdale The Candidate Your skills, experiences and attributes will include • Managerial experience within a large-scale distribution environment • Experience with retail or e-commerce distribution would be highly beneficial • Proven working knowledge of Health & Safety and legal requirements within a distribution environment • Ability to interpret data and effectively apply outcome to the needs of the business • Knowledge of team dynamics and the effects of a positive working environment • Demonstrate the ability to coach, lead and motivate large teams to deliver results. • Experience of working within set budgetary and performance targeted workplace • Able to clearly communicate at all levels (direct and indirect reports) delegating to the appropriate level • Adaptable and self-aware • Ability to make decisions based on evaluation of risks, impact of decision on all departments and knowledge of the business • Ability to influence peers and senior managers The Role You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Shift Managers on the night operation; you will be setting and regularly reviewing objectives aimed at delivering the Distribution business plan within the agreed budget. Duties will include • Managing the warehouse function of receipt through to despatch • To support in the achievement of all site SLAs and objectives • To maintain best standards of Health and Safety practices and promoting a supportive working environment • To look to continuously improve processes to gain maximum efficiencies and a high level of customer service • To provide support and coaching for team members to enable them to achieve the required standard of performance and behaviours • To ensure that all colleagues work in line with required Company Standards and all Health and Safety • To undertake any other reasonable duties in line with the needs of the business • To deputise for the Operations Manager and provide essential support at all times, especially in Peak • To support all departments in the absence of the departmental Shift Manager Proman acts as an employment agency for permanent staff and an employment business for temporary workers.
