Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION Our Client, a local distribution company, require Drivers to work out of one of their Operating Centres around Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley and surrounding areas. You will be driving HGV, LGV, Class1, CE Vehicles. The work and contracts are varied; and could include Pallet Distribution, Trunking or Tramping. Your duties will include, but not limited to, the safe and timely distribution of goods. DAY and NIGHT work available. Nights out are available for those who wish to do this. DRIVER SPECIFICATION Must hold a valid HGV, LGV, Class 1, CE Licence with no more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes. Also for insurance purposes must be aged 23 years or over. Must hold a valid DQC and digi-tacho card. The Clients you will be working for are classed as General Haulage companies and therefore the load you will be carrying can vary day-to-day. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE HGV LGV Class 1 CE Licence DQC Card Digital Tachograph Card Aged 23 years or over for insurance purposes No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes RATE OF PAY / HOURS OF WORK Monday to Friday basic week (Guaranteed 8-hours per day) DAYS £11.00 per hour basic PAYE DAYS £13.00 per hour basic Ltd. Co. or Umbrella Overtime available
