Our successful, longstanding client is currently expanding and has created a brand-new position, so this is an exciting opportunity for someone to come in and make this role their own. This Warehouse Supervisor role has been created due to the expansion. It is a great role, working within a team focussed environment, this company enjoys longstanding staff and has low turnover - it is a small team of three and has normal working hours. Job Description: Supervising the day to day running of the warehouse Ensuring that the warehouse is clean and tidy, and that all warehouse space and bin locations are optimised Ensuring maximum productivity within the warehouse team is maintained at all times Planning and organising workload through staff rotas and regular team briefs Monitoring of picking accuracy levels Ensuring that all orders received before 3pm are despatched the same day Ensuring that all web customer orders are packaged according to the customer's requested preference, and have the correct outer labels and necessary customs documents included Ensuring that all replenishment and new season stock lists are actioned with the agreed 48-hour target Working closely with the Customer Service Manager and the Head of Ecommerce to ensure that the web goals and targets are met Undertaking and learning all necessary aspects of Microsoft NAV - to include pick list printing, trouble shooting, Web order dashboard, stock checking and BIN locations Liaising with Couriers to ensure a timely pick up each day and to arrange for any necessary additional pickups during busy periods Working with the Customer Service Manager to investigate shortages and mis picks to identify the cause and to put in place solutions Working with the Customer Service Manager to ensure stock levels are monitored and accurate at all times (physical and NAV/Magento), thus reducing shortages Candidate Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role Excellent standard of numeracy and literacy A hands-on person with a 'can-do' attitude to work Previous experience in an e-commerce warehouse is highly advantageous Excellent organisational skills including prioritising and multi-tasking Able to work to deadlines and to work under pressure Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy This role is easily accessible from Newcastle under Lyme, Stoke on Trent, Congleton, Biddulph, Alsager, Keele, Crewe, Sandbach, Holmes Chapel.
