Overview
We have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join a manufacturing organisation in Lymington. Working as part of a small team, you will support with the packaging of liquid based products that are manufactured using automated processes in the plant. The duties will include controlling machinery that bottles, labels and packages products. Then managing their despatch, paperwork, loading, unloading etc. Key Activities • Production of products to agreed specifications, including labelling and bottling, adhering to Company quality procedures. • Pick and pack goods in line with customer requirements. • Load/unload lorries, including physical handling and movement of stock, receive goods into inventory and ensure that they match the purchase order and required standards/specifications. • Participate in stock checks/inventory control. • Liaise with external delivery companies to ensure that goods are despatched to our customers with the correct documentation. • Production of products to agreed specifications, including labelling and bottling, adhering to Company quality procedures. • Any other ad-hoc duties as necessary. Key Qualities/Experience: • Previous experience in a similar role preferred, including maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment. • Good written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills & organisational skills. • Ability to work to deadlines/ship dates and to prioritise workload. • Reliability, punctuality and flexibility to undertake any other tasks as required.
