Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to join this Global consumer Electronics Company working on their full range of products as a European Product Quality Specialist. You will be providing support on quality issues from product launches and in market models across mobiles, tablets, wearables and accessories or consumer electronics, TVs, washing machines, fridges etc, acting as data collection point from the 15 technical support teams across European Subsidiaries., Support the European Product Quality team on ensuring that the escalations are addressed and followed up on timely manner, the tasks and activities are organised in accordance to product launch programs, all communications are well-explained for all 15 EU Subs to be aligned to unified practises. You will have an excellent knowledge and technical understanding on consumer electronics goods, previous work experience on major manufacture is a must together with an understanding of product design and production stage, product lifecycle, sustainability – is an advantage. You will have an understanding of industry standard KPIs and activities such as NFF, FFR, CRRR (Repeat Repair Ratio) also a good u nderstanding of product design and production stage, SW production stage, product lifecycle and familiarity with the terms NPS, BETA, UX, FOTA, OOBE. You will participate on NPI programs for new models launch in market and p repare, collate and analyse data as well as u nderstand defective scenarios and highlight the potential cause and conditions. P rovide information and updates about quality issues, either by service bulletins for in-market volume or by countermeasures for newly built on production line, identifying and understanding of unusual product behaviour and unexpected performance trends. Your role will be to drive implementation on Quality improvements with the relevant business areas ensuring clarity on the technical aspects such as HW improvements via Service Bulletins and SW improvements/upgrades over the product lifecycle, a nticipate issues and follow up to improvements deployed ensure maximum impact and ROI by looking for side effects, measuring effectiveness and understand maximum impact. Help to plan and coodinate Quality fixes to key and relevant parts of the business.
