Overview
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based at British Steel in Scunthorpe for an experienced Store Person for an on-going contract, which will become a permanent role for a successful candidate. You will require experience as a Store Person in an industrial environment; essential personal attributes are: · Goods Inwards experience · RTITB Counterbalance FLT Licence · Raising orders · Oracle experience / IT literate · Working a stores hatch / customer facing · Numerically literate / good organisational skills The working hours are Monday - Friday on a split shift rota, 06:00hrs to 14:00hrs and 10:00hrs to 18:00hrs (an extra hour paid for back-shift), and every other Saturday. A flexible approach to working hours is required, as is a full UK Drivers Licence. The successful candidate will be subject to a pre-employment medical examination which includes a substance abuse test.
