Overview
- HGV Class 2 driver required with at least 2 years Class 2 driving experience. - Multi drop experience is essential. - Working for a family run company who manufacture aluminium and glass greenhouses. - Nationwide deliveries to both residential and commercial customers, so friendly and helpful nature is essential as you are the public face of the company. - Driver is responsible for driving to the destination, and physically unloading the product to the customers choice of location. The load is then checked, photographed and signed for by the driver and the customer. - 3 consecutive nights out EVERY week in sleeper cab of vehicle. (leave factory 8am day 1 and return day 4) - All deliveries are MANUALLY unloaded from the vehicle and taken onto customer premises so it is quite labour intensive - Experience of handling glass would be beneficial but not essential - Guaranteed 34 basic hours per week at £11.54 per hour an average of 8 hours overtime (£16 per hour) overnight allowance (£30 per night). -Driving for a 5th day will be required during peak season (weekend work is very rare)
