Infrastructure Team Leader

Position Summary: The UK Tech/Team Lead (Cloud & Infra) is responsible for working with and managing a technical team of professionals providing IT services to remotely located clients. This position reports directly to the Director of Global Cloud & Infrastructure. Requirements Essential: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred OR equivalent combination of education and experience. · 8 years of direct hands on support of Cloud and infrastructure support · 2 years of experience in a services company is strongly preferred (Hosting, remote services, PaaS/IaaS, Private cloud, AWS, Axure, OCI etc.) · 2 years of lead / management experience with directly reporting technical staff · Expertise in all major versions of the technology stack · Performance-tuning skills to review performance data and prepare reports · Expertise of infrastructure related maintenance/patching mechanics. · Logging, managing, and resolving Server SR's with vendor Support Technical Skills · Ability to demonstrate solid understanding of core technologies associated with the following; OS (Linux, Unix, Windows), Storage (NetApp, ZFS), Networking (SAN, F5, Juniper, Cisco), Virtualisation (OVM, XEN, KVM, VMware), Cloud (OCI, Azure, AWS), Puppet · Extensive experience managing standard Linux infrastructure tools, utilities and components · Ability to demonstrate two or more of Operating System or Networking or Storage Technologies understanding to a high level of proficiency · Extensive knowledge of servers, storage, load balancers, firewalls, etc. · 8 years’ experience supporting and maintaining relevant infrastructure · Relevant academic and technical qualifications If you are interested in this opportunity, please send an update CV directly through the portal for immediate consideration and further information.
