Overview
I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on an ongoing temporary basis in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful Assistant Accountant will be ideally AAT qualified and be available at short notice. £12.50 per hour Key duties Preparing & submitting VAT returns as per monthly deadlines. Preparing & submitting Intrastat reporting as per monthly deadlines. Balance Sheet account reconciliations Ensuring all aspects of VAT transactions correctly captured within SAP Helpful to have experience of VAT accounting, as will need to work autonomously to tight deadlines Although not essential candidates with experience of VAT accounting would be desired as you will need to work autonomously to tight deadlines.
